Another Portable Fire Ring

Just a quick note that another Ultimate Portable Fire Ring, Cooking/Smoking Station is heading out to a customer in southern New Jersey for use at his camp ground.
He is looking forward to a summer of great cook outs, smoked meals, and fun times with family and friends around his new toy.

Boiler Sample Cooler with removable coil

Still pushing these out the door like crazy.
So many of the chemical and petrochem companies are having to use recycle water for all plant processes it sometimes creates issues inside any type of cooling equipment.
This is why the RR and RRSS sample coolers are so popular. The coils are removable for cleaning on simple replacement

Internals with 316 Stainless steel coil

The entire process to remove the coil takes about 4 minutes
The coils can be made longer for added cooling area if the cooling water is warmer.

Ultimate Portable Fire Ring, Cooking and Smoker Station

You gotta see this.
So sick of going into the mega stores to get camping  or outdoor equipment and finding NOTHING made in the USA, so I decided to design and build things in my shop in good old Phila. PA. The best thing is that my nephew, the Eagle Scout, is my partner in this venture. He knows what he needs in the outdoors, especially for cooking.
I built the first portable fire ring and continued to add components based on others suggestions. My only issue was that they started to go out the door so fast I didn't get a chance to take pictures and put them out there.
Here are the components of the portable fire ring.
3 piece steel constructed. welded sides
The Portable fire ring is 2.5' in diameter (with other sizes available based on your needs) and takes 1 minute to set up. The hold down sockets to assemble are interlocking and a 5/16 rod slides through them and goes into the ground to set the fire ring in place. If you notice the letters in the front of the ring, each one is personalized with the persons name, troop #, or whatever else you may want plasma cut into it.

The first cooking surface is a 13" grill surface that slides onto the welded, reinforced holder. It takes 10 seconds to put it in place. It swivels 360 degrees for easy addition and removal of food and also makes it simple to control flare ups from the fire. (Not that flare ups ever happen on my fires.....except for all that crispy burnt chicken, or burgers, or dogs). It's important to note that the cooking surface holders also push into the ground for added stability and strength. So, go ahead and put your frying pan on them if you want. It's not going anywhere. Another advantage to this grill is that it has a 1.5" lip welded around the top so nothing accidentally rolls off into the coals. (Again, not that it's ever happened to me, I just tell the kids that they're crunchy hot dogs or sausages).

The second cooking surface on the portable fire ring and cooking station is an 18" grill. Like the 13" grill it has a lip welded around to keep those pesky round foods in place. It fits plenty of everything so go ahead and load it up with the goods. The cooking surface holder again goes into the ground for strength, and like the 13", it swings 360 degrees in case of flare ups. It's also unique in that you can use both cooking surfaces at once with some spacers. One for the meat and one for the potatoes or veggies. They swivel right over each other.

The third cooking apparatus, and my personal favorite on the portable fire ring cooking station, is the "Mini Smoke Unit". This is awesome. The smoker also slides down onto the sturdy holder in seconds. It is 12" high and 11.5" in diameter which is perfect for chicken, turkey, any type of meat or fish, veggies, potatoes, or whatever else you want to cook. It has a thermometer, a chimney, a space at the bottom to place a tin of water, wine, beer, liquor, wood chips, fruit, or whatever other flavor adders you may want to add to the smoker. It swivels 360 degrees so you can control heat if you need to. Trust me..........it doesn't get any better than this. Putting whatever you want in the smoker, adjusting the coals underneath for heat, sitting back and relaxing and enjoying the aromas of the yummies slow cooking in your smoker.

Oh, and by the way, the Mini Smoker can be free standing, so if you already have a fire ring or just want to do some back yard or outdoor smoking ......no problem. Here you go!

So, do you have someone you know that loves the outdoors or just loves to cook over a fire?
Just imagine how excited they would be to get the ultimate portable fire ring, cooking, smoking station.
You can get the entire set or get one at a time and save the rest for future gifts or outings.
All these components fit easily into a foot locker or a tupperware container for easy transport to and from your favorite camping spot, hunting spot, beach, or just your back yard.

I still say the best thing is that it's made in the USA.

Stainless steel emission probe

You never know what's going on at Orchem Pumps.
We are custom bending Stainless steel, 3/8 .035 wall tubing to be used for vacuum emission probes for the state.
These probes have 12 holes drilled in specific locations. They have custom handles being held on by a 2 part epoxy, and the one end has a stainless steel plug welded into the end. The other end is flared to a .470 diameter to accept a JIC fitting. The JIC fitting is then attached to a vacuum pump which draws the vehicle exhaust into the testing equipment for analysis.
So, in one piece you have, cutting, bending, drilling, flaring, welding, gluing, reaming, and attaching fittings.
Full Probe. Overall length is 54"
Above and below pictures are of the flared end with the JIC fitting, and the handle
